where are you located?
OFF GRID STUDIOS are located within Make It in Bromley By Bow, under a 1 min walk from Bromley By Bow underground station. Our full address is Studio 6, 5 Hancock Rd, Bow, London E3 3DA.
do you have parking?
We don’t have dedicated parking, however, there is street parking close by as well as a large Tesco supermarket with parking for a limited period nearby.
how do you get into the building?
Full details will be emailed 24 hours prior to your booking.
What days/times are you open?
Our studio is available Monday – Sunday, 9am-11pm. For availability, please head to our booking page or if you’d like to book outside those hours get in touch.
how do i pay?
Payment is made at the time of booking through our online booking service using Stripe's secure payment gateway. We can also accommodate payment via BACS.
Do you have wifi?
Yes, we have free wifi available in all areas of the building and studio.
Can we come earlier to set up?
No, the time slot you book includes set up before the shoot and take down after the shoot, not how long you shoot for.
What is the minimum booking period?
The minimum booking period is 2 hours.
What happens if I overrun or need more time?
If you exceed your booked time without notifying us and it affects another client’s booking, you will be charged for the time used at a rate of £50 p/h and an additional £30 inconvenience fee.
Can I change/cancel my booking?
You may cancel or reschedule your booking up to 48 hours prior to your scheduled slot without incurring any additional charges. Any cancellation or rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours before your booked slot will not be eligible for a refund or rescheduling.
Is there a photographer available?
We are able to offer a photographer. Please reach out to info@offgridstudios.co.uk for further information.
Can we hire equipment?
We do offer equipment for hire that is available to add at the time of booking. Please contact info@offgridstudios.co.uk for further information.
Do you provide paper backdrops/coloramas?
A white, green, red and disco backdrop are included in the price. We also have paper backdrops in black, grey and beige which are charged at £15 each. If you require a specific colour or would like a whole roll ordered, these are available at £65 per backdrop.
Can we bring food and drink into the studio?
Food and drinks are prohibited within the studio.
Can we bring alcohol to the studio?
We have a strict no alcohol rule in our studios due to many pieces of furniture being broken because of this. Please respect the rules or you could face being evicted from the studio with no refund.
Can I bring my dog?
Are there toilets?
Yes there are toilets located at the end of the corridor.
